The visitors drew first blood with a 10th-minute Jack Caldwell strike but Lewis Beveridge soon had Lenzie level when he burst through the middle to score. The Navy Blues then took the lead with a delightful goal. Ben Graham whipped over a cross from the right and fellow wide man Callum Groom arrived on cue to bullet his header home. An Andy McCarthy penalty then tied things up before Bishopbriggs re-gained the lead through Nathan Adger. Half Time - 2:3 The action continued after the break as Groom made it 3-3, Lenzie found themselves behind for a third time after another spot-kick was scored by McCarthy. However, showing tremendous team spirit, the G66 boys came storming back again and their pressure forced a penalty, coolly converted by Ewan Macpherson. Minutes later, the outstanding Macpherson was upended in the box and spot-kick number four of the match was duly dispatched by the Lenzie No.10 himself.
