GK – Kirsty Jeffries (Hibernian 15s)
Arguably the first name on the teamsheet after a
truly oustanding season. Pulled off a string of incredible
saves to lead her team to Scottish Cup and League Cup glory.
DEF – Sophie Mauriello (Hearts 13s) - Captain fantastic for
Hearts in their League Cup success and second consecutive
Scottish Cup final experience. Excellent defender and equally
good on the ball with composure that defies her age.
DEF – Donna Paterson (Deveronvale FC 15s)
An excellent performer at the back for both Deveronvale and
Scotland schools. Capable of scoring too, as she showed with
superb strikes on international duty against England and
Aberdeen FCL in the League Cup final.
DEF – Jessica Murphy (Falkirk FC 15s) - A solid defender,
inspirational captain and leader for her Falkirk side. After early
season League Cup heart-break, she led them to League victory
and a Scottish Cup semi.
MID – Brogan Hay (Glasgow City 15s) - One of the most exciting
midfielders in the country - always looks capable of producing
a goal or assist out of nothing. A key player in Glasgow City’s
League Cup success and Scottish Cup run.
MID – Rachel Wolecki (Jeanfield Swifts 13s) - A fantastic talent
who has lit up pitches in Fife and Perthshire this season. Hard
working midfielder whose success has been recognised by
selection for the SFA Performance Schools programme.
MID – Erin Cuthbert (Rangers 17s)- A magician with the ball.
Her cup final Maradona-esque effort summed up her season.
Absolutely outstanding but we’re sure the best is still to come.
MID – Amy Gallacher (Forfar Farmington 17s) - Her goals took
Scotland schools to new heights and her performances with
Forfar Farmington, including playing her part in an incredible
League Cup final comeback, resulted in a first team call up.
ST – Chelsea McEachran (Falkirk FC 13s) - A defender’s worst
nightmare. From the first whistle to the last of every game, she
has worked tirelessly and had the quality to match. Her goals
inspired Falkirk to a clean sweep of all the honours.
ST – Joanne Rae (Celtic FC 15s) - Her sparkling form for the
Hoops resulted in a Scotland call up and she didn’t disappoint.
Her goal helped the national team to victory in Luxembourg.
ST – Kirstie McIntosh (Linlithgow Rose 13s) - Quite literally,
a goal machine! Her fantastic finishing inspired her team to
League Cup glory and an excellent League finish.
