YEO Bios Jennifer Gregerson Mayor Mukilteo, Washington Jennifer Gregerson is serving her first term as mayor after having been a member of the City Council since 2004. Gregerson, a graduate of Kamiak High School, has a bachelor’s degree in French from New York University. She has established an expertise in community planning, earning her master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Washington. Mayor Gregerson learned the values of hard work and responsibility growing up in a family-owned business. Watching her parents fight to preserve trees and wetlands in Harbour Pointe, she says, taught her the importance of getting involved, speaking out, and defending your community. Gregerson is committed to Mukilteo and believes in service; she served two years as Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival President and volunteers with the Mukilteo Farmers Market. Today, she makes her home with her husband, Jeff, in Mukilteo, a few miles from where she grew up. @MayorGregerson Chris Hall State Representative Sioux City, Iowa Clean Energy & Environmental Justice Policy Academy | 2016 34 Chris Hall is currently serving his third term in the Iowa House. Outside of the legislature, Hall works as the grants coordinator at Western Iowa Tech Community College. Hall was born and raised in Sioux City and graduated from North High School as valedictorian. He then stayed in Iowa to receive his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College. In the Iowa House, Hall serves as ranking member of the Appropriations Committee. In 2014, Hall was appointed to House leadership. During the 2015 session, Hall coordinated the overall budget message and debate strategy for his caucus. He has championed economic development issues in northwest Iowa and anti-bullying legislation. He also has a strong record of bipartisanship. Hall attends First Presbyterian Church in downtown Sioux City. In his free time, Hall enjoys time outdoors and has volunteered for Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Siouxland Soup Kitchen. Dayvin Hallmon County Board Supervisor Kenosha, Wisconsin In 2008, County Board Supervisor Dayvin Martin Anthony Hallmon was first elected to office at the young age of 23. Supervisor Hallmon is currently pursuing a bachelor’s of arts in sociology along with a bachelor’s of arts in humanities at the University of Wisconsin. His approach to his work involves integrating multiple disciplines to enhance programs, policy, and community development. In 2012, Hallmon was named chair of the Kenosha County Human Services Committee, where he oversees the budgeting and other functions of the health and human service programs. @dayvinhallmon
