and community clean-up efforts. He is the past president of the Port Huron branch of the National
Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and current youth chapter training
director. Amos leads community initiatives such as the My Brothers Keepers Initiative, Youth Voice,
and the Mentors Matter community initiative.
Sarah Anthony
County Commissioner
Lansing, Michigan
Sarah Anthony was elected as Ingham County commissioner in 2012 and
reelected in 2014. Anthony serves as the Chair of the County’s Finance
Committee, a member of the Human Services Committee and previously
served as the chair of her county party’s caucus. To date, Anthony is the
youngest African American female county commissioner in the country,
and has worked hard to be a voice for disadvantaged communities,
working families, and young people. As liaison to the commission’s Equal Opportunity Committee,
she worked to pass a countywide “ban the box” policy. Anthony was born and raised on Lansing’s
south side, graduating from Everett High School and Central and Western Michigan Universities.
In 2007, she worked with state Representative Joan Bauer, where she served as the legislator’s
community relations’ liaison and focused on higher education policy.

Archange Antoine represents a dynamic fusion of passion and dedication
through his tireless efforts toward providing realistic approaches for
improving the quality of life for poor and middle-class people. He utilizes
the power of education, love, and conviction to empower others to
undertake active roles in their communities and in the political process.
He is the president at Savviors & Associates, a management and public
affairs consulting firm, and founder of Success for America, a grassroots organization committed
to the advancement of people through training, educating, and advocacy. Antoine is the former
Roselle Board of Education president and currently serving his second term as a member. His
ministry is being a part of the solution to help cultivate the next generation of leaders who will
lead the state of New Jersey and the United States. He enjoys traveling the country to speak on
faith, leadership, politics, racial and economic justice. @archangeantoine
