Preikestolen and Stavanger Preikestolen, or Pulpit Rock, was at the end of a gentle hike that took us past wet stairs, loose rock, sheer drop-offs, and rotting bridges. No serious injuries were reported, and no one fell over the edge to Lysefjord 600 meters below. We didn’t stop working on our sunburns there! Next stop was Stavanger, a cute little city on the west coast where we toured the Oljemuseum or wandered behind Amal as she showed us the sights. Last, but not least, we paused at the giant Three Swords, where Norway was founded.
