Essity receives 2017
Business Entrepreneurial Award
Philadelphia, November 29th, 2017 – The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Philadelphia (“SACC-
Philadelphia”) selected Essity to receive its annual Business Entrepreneurial Award. The award recognizes
companies that have made a significant contribution to the exchange of trade and commerce between
Scandinavia and the Philadelphia Region, as well as important contributions towards corporate social
responsibility and sustainable business practices.

SACC-Philadelphia presented the award to Essity at its annual Glögg Holiday Business Mixer held at the
Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Many distinguished members of the Philadelphia and Scandinavian business
community attended the event. Mike Feenan, Vice President, Health and Medical Solutions, North America,
accepted the award on behalf of Essity.
