ARTICLES ARTICLES Q: What are the differences between playing in the US and in Sweden? A: There aren’t really any differences; I have a huge support in both countries. What I like about the U.S is that people here are so helpful and look out for each other. There is a level of solidarity and fellowship here that I haven’t found anywhere else. You can’t spell SKF without CSR Q: Do you think coming from Sweden makes it easier to break through internationally as an artist? A: Yes, definitely! It comes and goes but the interest in Swedish music is really big internationally at the moment. I think the main reason Sweden has been so successful exporting music in the past is because we have a long history without war, natural disasters or epidemics, which has given us time to focus on producing cheery pop songs. I think there is a distinct connection between ABBA, IKEA and H&M and it is that they are all offering something that’s likeable and carefree for the many people.
