SACC Interns Coming Emma Weiner Marcus Mårdh Emma Weiner will be joining our chamber as a new intern at the end of March 2012. Before coming to Philadelphia she lived and studied in Gothenburg, where she graduated in January 2012 with a bachelor degree in Economics from Gothenburg University, School of business, Economics and Law. Emma has previously lived in the small town of Lindau in Germany where she studied German and it was her previous experience from abroad that inspired her to apply for the position with SACCPhiladelphia. In the future Emma wants to embark on an international career and plans to go back to school for a master in International Business and Trade. She feels that the internship will give her a great opportunity to get a better understanding of the world of business and especially the vibrant American business life. Marcus Mårdh is SACC-Philadelphia’s new intern starting in June 2012. He was born in 1987 in Sweden’s capital city Stockholm. Before arriving in the United States Marcus studied economics at the Linnaeus University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Leadership. During his studies he spent one semester in Seoul, South Korea where he got a taste of international life and business. Never having visited the United States Marcus saw a great opportunity in the SACC-Philadelphia intern position as this would give him both social and professional experiences and benefits for the future. In his spare time Marcus likes to travel, exploring remote locations, snowy hilltops, and warm sandy beaches. Socializing and networking is another favorite pastime.
