THE PYRAMID CLUB January 26th
SACC-Philadelphia co-hosted together with the other international chambers the Major
League Networking: A Union of International Business and Soccer. Around 300 guests and
members of the international business community as well as the Executive Staff from the
Philadelphia Union, the area’s newest Major League Soccer team, were gathered for the
business networking reception held at the Pyramid Club. CEO & Operating Partner Nick
Sakiewicz, President Tom Veit as well as members of the Philadelphia Union soccer team
Coaching Staff were there to speak about their team and the upcoming season.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS EVENT
TAVERN 17 March 4th
SACC-Philadelphia successfully hosted their first Young Professionals Event. Many new faces showed up and the absolute majority of the guests were under 45 years, most people
also under 30. Board member David Engstrom announced
the guest speaker, Ms. Shinjoo Cho representing the Commerce Department of City of Philadelphia. Ms. Cho spoke
about The City of Philadelphia and the possibilities they
have to assist and help small and large businesses. She was
also an inspirational young professional who talked about
her background, moving to the US and her work for the city
during the past 5 years. After the speech, guests continued to
mingle until the last ones left at closing time.
