Janet McLeod has been a successful feature of the
Melbourne comedy scene for around twenty years.
She successfully and enthusiastically works onstage
as a comedian, as well as behind the scenes as a
producer. She runs trivia nights regularly throughout the Melbourne area and a weekly comedy night
Laughs on Monday nights in St Kilda East.
Local Laughs is Melbourne’s longest running independent comedy room and boasts some of the
best local and international acts as well as the most
promising up-and-comers. The room is often sold
out, especially during comedy festival seasons.
Not only does McLeod run this very successful comedy room, but she also appears fortnightly ABC Local
Radio’s Overnights With Trevor Chappell and was
on Triple R and Tadio 5 Live, London. She can also
be seen sporadically as an Australian correspondent
for The Bruce Millar Show on SAfm Johannesburg.
