Firdi Billimoria The Micallef P(r)ogram(me) Micallef borders on that brilliantly thin line between insanity and genius. This show was brilliant in that the sketches could have ridiculously long set ups, for a very subtle punchline. Genius misdirection gags. Awkwardness in "fake" interviews but at the same time, incredibly intellectual. He created a character out of himself. It was kind of a sketch and variety show, that broke the 4th wall to an extent... probably the best comedy ever from this country, in my opinion Kristine Philipp Sammy J’s ‘Wednesday Night Fever’ sharp, funny political satire & millionaire parody ala Clive & Gina. Big, bold character sketches tickled my fancy. Clayton Anderson D-Gen’s ‘The Late Show’ There sketch comedy skills and talent In improvisation ability definitely set them aside from any other main stream show that may have been on the comedy channel or TV in general. They went further, darker and got away with more.
