The Micallef P(r)ogram(me)
Micallef borders on that brilliantly thin
line between insanity and genius. This
show was brilliant in that the sketches
could have ridiculously long set ups, for a
very subtle punchline. Genius misdirection gags. Awkwardness in "fake" interviews but at the same time, incredibly
intellectual. He created a character out of
himself. It was kind of a sketch and
variety show, that broke the 4th wall to
an extent... probably the best comedy
ever from this country, in my opinion
Kristine Philipp
Sammy J’s ‘Wednesday Night Fever’
sharp, funny political satire & millionaire parody ala Clive & Gina. Big,
bold character sketches tickled my
fancy.
Clayton Anderson
D-Gen’s ‘The Late Show’
There sketch comedy skills and
talent In improvisation ability definitely set them aside from any other
main stream show that may have
been on the comedy channel or TV
in general.
They went further, darker and got
away with more.
