The passing of Peggy recalls those great old days and a kindly woman wailing nt the Basin 10 dry our clothes and IO warm us with coffee and ho1 dishes . Whclher we arrived at 5 pm or 5 am made no difference 10 the old Queen of Nature .
In 1922 a group of yachtsmen erected a monument in memory of Sally ( Peggy ) Morris at the Basin , Coasters Retreat , in 1he Pi11water .
