Surrounding 1he whole of Green Poinl are club marinas that accommodme 3 I 2 yach1s . Floating pontoon marinas are posilloncd at 1he inboard end of some of these marinas 10 provide for shallow draogh1ed vessels .
Along the wa1erfron1 is the old clubhouse . ' Moonbar '. a s1one three · sloreyed building housing asbips ' chandlery . the club ' s Centteboard Division .
the Royal VolumeerCoastal Patrol and the Secretary Manager accommodation . In from of · Moonbar ' are lawns and covered rack > for 1he s10rage of ce01reboard dinghies . There is also a launching ramp and a pontoon noatcd in from of 1he lawns .
The first clubhouse on Green Point , the Boatsbed , is now occupied by concessionai ~ hipwrighlS . painters . marine engineers and riggers . Extending in10 Crysml Bay is a jeuy . Oouring pontoon , four workbenhs and a nU1s1 crane . Dinghy rncks have been built on thejeuy , and a deck capableofhandling quite large maslS is situa1ed between the jelly and lhe main slipway . This area is used for rigging . Between the main clubhouse and 1he Boarshed is the main slipway . capable of handling vessels up to 60 tons .
To the nonh of the Boa1Shed is the original caretaker ' s cottage , now occupied by the boatyard manager . a yacht broker and offices for the principals of some of tl1e club ' s concessions .

5.5 mette y : ich1s . Etchells , Dragons and Statboals . They are slung 001 of the water on slings operated from IWO electric cranes and are Stored on cradles .
Near this hardsuind area is an additional hardstand area on which are housed other typeS of smaller classes such as J24s , Folkboa1s and Bluebirds . These vessels are Ii fled ou1 of lhe water and are launched on cradles by a large hydraulic hoist . An electric tow truck is used 10 position the yachts .
There are clubs within the club , such as a Snooker Club thm plays annual competitions , a Golf Club , and a fine chaner of 1he Beefs1eak and Burgundy Club ( a food and wine appreciation society ). There is also a very efficient Lady Associates ' Committee .
