The Ell Admiral ' s Cup , which includes the Pittwater to Coffs Harbour Yacht Race , Solitary Island Race and a Triangle Race saw further success for the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club when the ' Blue ' team ofJu11us ( Bob Fowler ), Spoonbill ( Bill Ebsary ) and Middlt Harbour Express ( Peter Nicholsen ) convincingly won the uophy . The Solitary Island Race saw a clean sweep again for the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club with Spoon / Ji / I winning from Middle Harbour Express with The Sy11dicare ( David Stewart ) in third place . Positions were reversed for the Triangle Race with The Sy11dicate winning on corrected time from Middle Harbo11r Express and
SfHJonbill third . The second Triangle Race hlld to be abandoned whcoconditionsprovcdtoorough for the competitors to leave the harbour .
The fifth Pinwater to Coffs Harbour Yacht Race stattcd on 27 December J 985 . Forty-four yachts faced the s18Iter ' s gun on a fine day . Winds were from the south-east . The yachis quickly made their way out of Broken Bay , led by Evelyn ( on Alfred ' s yacht ). The competitors then enjoyed reaching and running conditions to the finish allhough some of rhe slower yachts had to put up with some very light and flukey conditions from Smokey Cape to the finish .

In the 1984 Pittwatcr to Coffs Harbour Yacht Race The Offict had no trouble selecting a berth in the boat
harbour . She broke the record . completing the race in under 21 hours from the Pittwater .
