School Firstly in school I am doing masters in the field of Tourism and Hospitality Management which is a field that I am passionate about and interested in. I am learning the skills that will enable me to develop my country and people. I believe with the knowledge and proper management skills that this field of study provides there is a lot of room for creativity and use of natural resources to generate economic, political, and social development. For example Jamaica has an illustrious History in: Sports, Music, Culture, Arts, and academic and people travel from all over the world to experience these histories. However until we start to involve the communities and the “little man” in tourism we will only continue to move backwards. For me Tourism and entertainment goes hand in and being an entertainer it is direct alignment with my professional goals and an Entertainment Entrepreneur. Music I love music with great passion my music is a mission to give a voice to the voiceless and to uplift people through positive word, sound, power. I have been doing music since 7 years old so it has become a natural part of my life in expression and has become a driving force in my connecting everything in my life. Music is a universal language which bridges gaps between people and is free like the air in fitting into any space in one’s life. My peers at school , my family and fellow entertainers support my music in oneness. Family My family is my main support and they support me in all of my development and I spend time discussing my goals in focus with the development not just of myself but my family as a united unit. Music is a mission which has to have a leader who has a vision and even when not everyone believe in this mission the journey must go on until it is recognized by others. I also embrace the world as my larger family as we are one so everywhere I go I connect with people and show them one love. Share with us something funny that happened to you recently Something funny that happened to me recently is the Jamaican badmind syndrome as kartel say “ Badmind a di wi worsest disease” sometimes people close to you catch the disease and spread negative thoughts but being a positive energy force that I am it easy to just bounce it off and keep moving. I found it funny because as bob Marley say “Some will eat and drink with you and behind you back dem susu pon you” times have change but things remain the same. Do you have any influences or anyone you look up to? Instead of influence I will say that many others in life have inspired me and I pay respects to them because they are my ancestors who have paved the way in various fields. Che Guevara, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Kwame Nkrumah, Nelson Mandela, my mother and many more. I am a product of various histories, philosophies and realities however I am inspired only to inspire others. How do you describe your style both musical and dress? My music is message music, music which is potent in love, truths, rights, and justice for all. I write not just to entertain but also to educate. I call my musical style “edutainment”. My style of dress is royal and militant. I carry myself as the King that, I am in representing the people who entrust their respect honor and loyalty to the mission that, I am fulfilling. When did you discover your creative talents? “I have always recognized my abilities but I got my epiphany at age 7 when I started performing dub poetry at Dallas Primary School”. As a youngster he attended Dallas Castle Primary located in Dallas Castle St Andrew, where he started playing the drum, chanting dub poetry and deejaying. These were the first signs of his love for and desire of becoming a Reggae Dancehall Artiste.
