Did you always want to be a singer? (If no what?) Well I must say it’s an inborn thing, I remember as a child my mom would get mad at me for bursting the bath pan from beating them and pretending I was on a show. And I was about 9 then. So I think yes I always wanted to be a singer. When did you discover your creative talents? I think I discovered it when I was a child, because I always have been creative musically. Before I started writing my songs I use to counteract songs and I knew then that when I started to be original it would be hard for them to hold “deh yute yah” because I am creative like that. How do you describe your style both musically and dress? Musically I would say different, unique, I’m versatile. I take life half hour to write my material and as I hear a riddim a song comes to mind. When you say dressing my swag is above the rest, look out for my clothing line Fusion Wear. Do you have any other hobbies? Yes I do, I enjoy reading alt thus my writing abilities. I love partying and most of all shopping. What is your favorite dish? Rice and Peas and Chicken but I enjoy making Macaroni. Share with us something funny that happened to you recently? (smiling) Well I was leaving my shop and while passing a bundle of Marymount girls at the cross road I tripped and nearly fell on my face, but what I did because I do dancing I made it look like I was :”bussing a style” and I said to them with an ashamed face “deh style deh bad doh” (laughing) What is your biggest pet-peeve; In other words what turns you off? My biggest turnoffs would definitely be ungrateful people, whether in friendships or relationships. I just hate people that burn their bridges and do not remember where they are coming from. Tell us about your experience working with mind power records. Well it has been tremendous, we are a family not just a team, I am there most evening just as I close the shop. So it’s great working with them and will continue being a part of this movement. Complete the sentence “in one year Fusion Music wants to be….” I want to be an artist who people can look up to, where I can say I have had a positive impact on a life. I want my music to touch lives and one day I want to see myself on billboards doing it big. Do you have any advice for young artists? Work hard; never let anybody makes you give up on your dreams, because you defeat yourself by letting go, because you’d be satisfying their evil deeds. Just hold your head up and trod on.
