a walk after online learning . Every house in our compound has it ’ s own yard , in which some people choose to grow crops , while others choose to make outdoor facilities . As I was walking , I noticed that something had made a sound . Not a human sound , but something between a neigh and a whinny . I looked around , and there they were . A doe and it ’ s fawn , just in the backyard of someone ’ s house . I was quite perplexed at the sight of two animals that are supposed to be prancing in the forest just standing there numbly in a yard . They were obviously not wild , as they had the traits of a domestic animal . While they were not being restrained by intangible boundaries by things like the Health Kit nor by the COVID , they were being physically restrained inside wooden fences . While I was marveling at how this particular neighbor achieved this , it did make me wonder about the morals of domesticating animals . While people are yearning for freedom of body and mind , why don ’ t animals deserve those too ? People can rant and make a uproar about not being able to go to their favorite shopping mall , while on the other hand they are just keeping animals that actually belong to the wild ( not animals like house cats that have already been domesticated over hundreds of years of evolution ) in captivity . While Buck was able to return to the wild in the end , most animals are not that fortunate . I am sure not every human being think like I do . I hope more people can start to think about it .
