a Warrior

BCIS is a place where warriors are born . We are always encouraged to challenge ourselves and escape our comfort zones . But BCIS doesn ’ t do this in a pushy way , but does this by giving us a chance to enjoy ourselves in a brand-new way .
Somehow , my eyes caught sight of a A3 poster hanging on the wall next to the cafeteria . At first , I thought it was just an ordinary notice , but as my eyes scrolled down the poster , I found the words , “ Fun Run ”. It had a horse printed on it , and it ’ s headband printed “ Warriors ” on it . What does BCIS have to do with Warriors ? I thought . What exactly is that ? Just when I was wondering , my teacher announced to the class that on Friday the school will open “ Fun Run ” for the very first time . As he was talking , I noticed the teacher himself wasn ’ t exactly sure what it will be like . After all , Fun Run is new to all of us . But for this very reason , everyone was full of anticipation . I guess that sometimes , the more something is mysterious , the more we tend to look forward to it . At the same time , I was nervous seeing the word “ Run ” on the posters . Honestly , when it comes to running , I had everything but confidence . I just couldn ’ t imagine myself running laps and laps without an exhausted body and injured legs .
