I felt relieved ; I know my sons can create their own future . I cherish the memories with PTA and thank them – BCIS is a gift .
BCIS 不仅改变了我的孩子 , 也改变了我 , 尤其是家长委员会的 工作 , 也让我成长了很多 。 其实我原来是个 “ 虎妈 ” 的 , 但当我来到 BCIS 以后 , 我在这里学到了很多不同的理念 , 我知道了我的儿子们 可以创造自己的未来 , 这也让我松了一口气 。 我想这是 BCIS 、 是家 长委员会给我的一份礼物 。
How did being a member of the PTA make you feel ? Happy ? Successful ? Others ?
您觉得家长委员会的工作为您带来了什么 ? 幸福感 ? 成就感 ? 等等 。
The most I gained from PTA is learning new things and skills . Through many parents ' voluntary teaching , I learned Korean , French , cooking , Chinese painting , acrylic painting , and a lot of kinds of handcrafts . In particular , handcrafts let me regain my passion , and every school event we would donate our crafts to raise money .
适 , 感受到学校对家庭的支持 。 很幸运的是 , 我们做到了 。
What are your future plans ? 您对于未来有什么计划 ?
What am I going to do when the kids finish school ?! I already feel strange ; I will miss everything here . All our fond memories here in Beijing , are memories that come from BCIS . I am not sure where we will be , what I will do yet . Depends if we are in Taiwan or stay in China . But for now , I have confidence in my boys – they can go anywhere – they truly know how to face the future .
“ 孩子们都完成学业以后我该怎么办 ?” 我已经在思考这个问题 了 。 我想 , 我一定会想念这里的一切的 , 因为我在北京的所有美好回 忆几乎都来自 BCIS 。 有的朋友和我说 , 你可以再去学点什么技能 , 我觉得这是个不错的想法 。 不管未来我自己将做什么 , 我都首先对我 的孩子们充满了信心 , 我知道他们可以去到任何地方独立生活 , 因为 他们已经真正知道了要如何面对未来 。
我从家长委员会获得的最大成就就是我学到了很多新的技能 。 家 长委员会的工作和参与都完全是各位家长自愿的 , 它没有薪水 、 没有 额外的福利 、 没有特权 , 但是如果你真的投入其中 , 会享受到很多乐趣 。 我参加了家长委员会的韩语 、 法语 、 烹饪 、 国画 、 油画 、 手工等课程 。 尤其是手工制作的课程 , 让我重燃激情 , 每次学校有慈善活动 , 我都 会制作手工艺品以筹集善款 。

PTA gives a lot of opportunities ; we learn from each other and create meaningful relationships . We all feel supported and comfortable , and we do that for each other .

All of the community ! Every time you walk into school , no matter who you meet , they always show their friendly smile to you and say hello . It makes me and my family feel that BCIS is part of our family and home . My kids said “ mom , BCIS is our other home ”.
