Head of School ’ s Note
All the members of the BCIS community - parents , students , alumni , staff , faculty , Board members , partners - have all contributed to the open-minded , caring and ambitious community that we are . We have a common goal of wanting the best for our students in our community and we work hard every single year to reflect , listen , make improvements , as well as celebrate all that is good and our many successes . We have seen our community grow over the years , from the original 86 students to almost 1250 students today . We have over 400 graduates who have gone out into the world , many forging careers and having families of their own . We continue to be a connected community and live by our motto of “ once a BCISer , always a BCISer .”
Reaching a significant milestone , as BCIS has done , gives us time to pause and reflect . I am proud of all we have achieved and all that the future holds . BCIS is a school that does not accept the status quo ; we strive to be the best we can be , and we combine our efforts to ensure that we are preparing our students for what they face today and what they will need to be successful tomorrow . We are like family : we look after each other as well as challenge each other , with common goals in mind .
Congratulations to BCIS for reaching its 15th anniversary . Congratulations to all the people who have been a part of the BCIS journey , those who are still here and those who have already said goodbye . Everyone leaves some imprint on BCIS , no matter how small , and for sure everyone gains great things from their experience and time at BCIS . I continue to enjoy my personal and professional journey with BCIS and would like to share my appreciation for all the challenges we have faced together , making us closer , stronger and proud .
