This academic year as BCIS celebrates its 15th complete year I feel so lucky to have so many personal memories of each and every one of these years . I have been very fortunate to have grown and matured alongside BCIS , learning firsthand about ongoing developments over time , the resulting institutional changes required , the academic and personal challenges that have come along the way and , crucially , how to be compassionate . I have learned about resilience , perseverance , optimism and team building . I have learned the very important lesson that it is the people that make the place special , and BCIS has many special people .
