Dear BCIS ,
Hi , how are you ? Time is traveling lightning fast around here , isn ’ t it ? I still can ’ t believe that it has already been 4 years since we met . Only one semester left before I truly bid you goodbye . But before that , I need to thank you for many things .
The first thing that I need to thank you for is the memories you have given me . There are many epic moments that you ’ ve given me , but the most memorable one was during a breezy October afternoon in 2018 . I have swimming lessons that day so I get to stay at school until 4:20 pm . I was bored with nothing to do so I wandered to the edge of the green hill beside that old tree stump near your soccer field . I lay down , about to enjoy the cool grass when I saw the most magical sight that I ’ ve ever seen at that time in my life . At that precise moment , there was a breeze that rustled your trees above me . I watched , stunned as a million leaves rained down on me . It was really like magic . Another time was during December . It snowed that day , so me and my friends went to your soccer field . It was as if someone dumped an entire bucket of white paint on you . Everything is white . No footprints , no sand , no nothing . We raced each other to your field and we had a violent snowball fight with many other students . Then , we built a very fat snowman wearing one of my friend ’ s scarf . It was really fun .
The second thing that I need to thank you for is that you made me feel included . I arrived at BCIS for the very first time in my life feeling dead to my feet . But I soon felt the first warm feeling that one of your teachers gave me : I met a very nice teacher called Ms . Valera . I was scared to death when she told me to introduce myself in front of the whole class . Everyone was staring at me ; I just want to climb into a crack on the floor and disappear . Ms . Valera was patient , she gives me some guide questions on what to say and told me that there is no need to be scared . When I finished the introduction , she was the one who clapped the loudest . The second warm feeling was during snack time . Ms . Valera told the whole class that every new student needs a buddy . Every new student found a buddy really fast , except me . I was standing there
