AM : We ’ re all very proud to be BCISers ! We love having all off our friends , | ||
teachers , classrooms and play areas at the ECC and the Library and grounds at | ||
Main Campus . Elementary and Middle School is challenging but fun , with lots of | ||
friends and memories . The chance to be in the Water Warriors team helped us to | ||
grow a lot . Judging by the number of teachers and students that return to work |

XM : How do you see BCIS in your life ? |

AM : BCIS is a little bit of heaven . There ’ s a great sense of community amongst |
||||||
the teachers , and you really feel that you ’ re part of the BCIS family . This became |
||||||
ever so evident during Covid-19 , where many staff families found themselves |
||||||
stuck outside of China , and away from their Beijing homes . The school worked |
||||||
hard to support them and to get them back . Communication with parents during |
||||||
the pandemic also really showed the sense of Connectedness and Community |
||||||
that the school works hard to create . This reaffirmed all of our reasons for being |
||||||
at BCIS ! |

XM : Why do you love BCIS ? |

AM : I ’ ve found my little place in the sun at BCIS . My children are happy and |
||||||
they ’ re getting a good education , in a safe and nurturing environment . Walking |
||||||
into the ECC and Main campuses often still makes me feel really lucky . It ’ s a great |
