BCIS
This was the celebration of the 10th anniversary . Can you believe that it has passed a decade ? I am so proud to be the only Chinese teaching staff who is working here since the school was founded . For these past years , I have witnessed the growth and development of BCIS , and in the meantime , I have learned a lot of new knowledge and accumulated a wealth of experience . In general , three words could summarize my own experience at BCIS , which are growth , enjoyment , and dedication . I enjoy working here every day . Because BCIS not only provides me an opportunity to work with the teachers from different countries but also creates a platform to disseminate Chinese language and culture through our Chinese class . BCIS made my dream come true and therefore I am trying my best to contribute to the development of the school . After shifting my role from Chinese teacher to Chinese Team leader , I always actively participate in or organize various school events . I run workshops for teachers and parents to promote the IB program . I also devote myself to improve the Chinese program and coordinate issues between the Chinese department and other departments . My whole life is connected to BCIS . I feel very proud to be a part of the BCIS community .

Another benefit of working in BCIS is I have friends all around the world . For these years , I have been to Australia , New Zealand , and the US . Wherever I go , I can always visit my dear colleagues . No matter how long we haven ’ t seen each other , we still keep a very close relationship . Every time we get together is like a family reunion . Our common language is our experience working at BCIS . Once you are a BCISer , you always a BCISer .
