XTREME 104 FM
SONJA BLADE, was sitting in the radio station freestyling when I walking into the broadcasting room. My show was up next and I was ready to get started. Sonja, stopped me in my tracks. See I'm from the day of lyricist so when the current show ended and we was switching over I looked at Sonja and said "Where you going, you minds well stay in that seat" Sonja said "Why not, I can do this for days!" That was my formal introduction to Sonja Blade. I have watched her career soar as shes verbally assaulted the female hip hop genre. She is not a female Hip Hop artist SHE IS HIP HOP. She is humble, lets the world know She will 'Get Em' she "Ain't No Quitter and when she feels ignored she'll say 'I guess they ain't heard me'. Just when she's being heard she carries the Hip Hop Empire 'New York' on her back and let's the 5 boroughs know 'Brooklyn keeps On Takin It' She does not do shows nor does she perform. She IS THE SHOW and everyone Performs for her. Her peers love her, and the major labels are falling in suit. She is the protégé of Clark Kent and co-signed heavy by The Drama King DJ Kay Slay. She has major radio spins on FM and internet radio stations as well as regular club spins. It's only right with the well deserved 2012 UMA award for Female Artist of The Year still warm in her hands that we make her this issues feature.
This issue is packed with whos shaking and moving on the independent level and taking the underground scene by storm. We sit down with Jennifer Lane Park, and Blanco The Silent Celeb. We cover The UMA winners, the All Star Music Awards and The September Xtreme Candy
We define XTREME one page at a time.
