Tell Your Story, Find Your Voice - A 6 Week Creative Writing Journey with Write On! *Do you dream of writing but can't seem to find the time or motivation? *Have you been secretly writing for years but have not put your work out into the world because of fear? *Have you wanted to write but don’t know where to start? *How about instead of going into hibernation this Autumn, you reconnected to yourself? Embark on a six week creative writing journey of self expression. Find your voice and your story through the power of writing. Every week, various creative techniques not limited to writing are used, loosely based on teachings by SARK and Julia Camero. No previous writing experience is needed to participate. This is an opportunity to play and to find out who you are as a writer. Exercises are designed to in a way that's fun and thought provoking. If you're worried about having to write long creative essays like you did in school, that is not what this course is. Creative exercises are done in short bursts as they are designed to take the pressure off you and make the process fun as you develop your writing muscles. This is not a traditional creative writing course in that you will not be taught story structure but rather how to access your stories within and unblock yourself creatively.
