ON THE MOVE ON THE MOVE ON THE MOVE ON THE MOVE ON THE MOVE ON THE MOVE
XQUISITE (Laughing) I feel ya. Now just how did you get started in
the music industry?
ZAYBOI Well I was always was on point with the music. Always was
in studios working with people and even had some people that
wanted to invest a good amount of money in me. They wanted me
out the streets. That was something I couldn't do
when I was
younger. Even when I moved to Atlanta GA. I still was running the
streets in and out of jail just wasn't taking my music serious. My
lady and I got an apartment together and it was my neighbor who
got thru to me. He heard me on the beats everyday. He chopped it
up wit me and was just telling me that I had a crazy talent and I need
to do something with it. He was so impressed he wanted to get
involved. So RealStreet was founded. We put together budgets,
booked studio time, copped beats, got shows, etc.
Next thing I know I was head first in this music shit.It got to the
point it was no turning back. I learned more of the business side,
calm things down a bit and now here I am.
XQUISITE Where are you located?
ZAYBOI I'm currently in Atlanta Ga.
XQUISITE What city or country do you represent?
ZAYBOI I’m from Augusta Ga. and i'm on that! Atlanta yes im on
that! I rep for all my homies, my G'z from Atlanta to Augusta. All the
hoods, lil’ towns, back roads, thugs, trappers, street niggaz hard
workers, grinders man I represent! I don't limit myself. But when it
comes to what I rep its Georgia to da heart. Atl to the AUG. Str8 like
dat!
XQUISITE Any competition out there
(I bet you'll probably say "No, not really, Next question!!! LOL") that
makes you say to yourself "Hey I'm out, Sorry I can't compete!, This
just isn't for me? or Are they serious??"
ZAYBOI Really I don’t entertain other artist on
that bullshit. Competition is good sometime when its just that. We
got some niggaz that turn competition to a beef thing.
Beefin’ on records and doing the most. That’s what I don’t pay
attention to.
