EDITOR’S NOTE
It has been another busy month for us here at
XMotionMag, with a bunch of events going down
despite the summer heat starting to take its toll.
We have some great features in this issue, starting
with the Magenta Skateboards Dubai Tour and the
Dynamics Sports Skate Contest that went down at
the Bay Avenue Park. Coverage of the inaugural Pro
Extreme Bikes, Skate, BMX and Inline contest held at
the Abu Dhabi Corniche Park. Our feature interviews this
month are with the now 3x UAE Sportbike Champion,
Lebanese ace Mahmoud Tannir as well as Kuwaiti BMX
Star Mansour Al Safran, who graces our cover. We also
stopped by the opening round of the 2017 National
Wakeboarding Championships that took place at Al
Forsan. Coverage of the first round of the Hard Enduro
Series from Brazil, the Red Bull Minas Riders as well
as the third edition of Ryan Sheckler’s brain child, Red
Bull Hart Lines from Detroit, Michigan. Aloha Arabia’s
summer Surfari’s have kicked off again and you can
find out all about them on page 50. To cap things off,
we have full event reports from round 8 and 9 of the
F.I.M World Motocross Championship.

as we prepare and get ready to kick off the new season

With this in mind and the season drawing to a close, the
next two issues will be bi-monthly, namely June-July
and August-September. We will still be working hard
behind the scenes however, as we will be completely
revamping our website, getting it to be more user
friendly and adding a lot of additional features and
news. So while there may not be a new issue for next
month, you can still stay up to date with a host of local
and international content via the website.
