XM: Ahmad Al Muyini pushed the title fight to the very last round,
the two of you had some great battles throughout the season
MT: Yes! There is no doubt Ahmad is a very strong rider and also very hungry. I had quite
a lot of fun racing against him because the fights were close and it pushed us both a lot.
I suffer quite a bit from his small size especially on the long straits and corner exits as he
does have the weight advantage, but I did improve my riding style and braking to be able
to keep him close. I even worked to get my weight down a bit for this! We also had a lot of
fights when we raced in Qatar, as well as Bahrain this season!
