It appears the skateboarding, BMXing,
Scooter and Inline scene in Abu Dhabi
is heaving. The XMotionMag team
were blown away by not only the
number of competitors, but the rousing
audience and comradery amongst the
athletes.
On Friday, 19th May Pro Extreme Bikes
hosted their inaugural Skate, BMX and
Inline competition in the heart of Abu
Dhabi at the Corniche Skate Park.
Support for action sports is definitely
growing, as Pro Extreme Bikes, with the
backing of the Abu Dhabi Municipality
and Abu Dhabi Sports Council added
a huge list of top notch stores and
big name brands such as Adventure
HQ, Bounce, Rage, Ride Bike Shop,
Fox MIddle East, Be Sport Bike Shop
amongst others, to come together
to offer some amazing prizes for the
competitors.
It was hot! Hotter than you can possibly
imagine, but that didn’t sway any of
the riders young and old, who were
out in force from as early as 2pm in
the peak of the heat. Each class had
a full schedule of junior and senior
riders, who impressed their fans,
