As the sun set on Bay Avenue
Skate Park, XMotionMag
was in the midst of the
action to witness the
season-closing Dynamic
Sports Skate Competition in
collaboration with Magenta
Skateboards.
The competition was
announced as part of
a regional tour by the
Magenta Skateboards team
and attracted riders from
as far away as Abu Dhabi,
who came to shred the Bay
Avenue Skate Park in front
of an international panel of
judges.
The weather cooled, but
the atmosphere only got
hotter and hotter as over
20 skaters of all ages took
to the park to wow the
judges. Contestants were
judged on skill, tricks and
use of the course and
skaters competed three at
a time in a jam format giving
spectators and passers-by
a taste of the action.
