What work do you most enjoying doing?
I love creating custom pieces for clients and then getting to see my clients smile when they first try on my creations.
What themes do you pursue?
I pursue themes of mythology and the sexual history of Roman and Greek goddesses. I am also inspired by romance.
Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
Falling in love for the first time had an impact.
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
I don’t have an awkward moment, but I do get nervous before meetings, and I have to give myself a pep talk beforehand.
Why art?
It feeds my soul.
What is an artistic outlook on life?
Breathe in the air of your talent and never neglect it.
What food, drink, song inspires you?
All types of seafood, especially oysters, dirty martinis with extra olive juice.
I love the song, “Don’t You” (ever forget about me) by Simple Minds.
What makes you angry?
Lazy people.
Name something you love in your life and why.
I enjoy the feeling I have at the end of the day,
where I can come home sit on my couch and watch a movie because downtime
is critical after a hard day of work, but I always keep my phone and emails on in case of a fashion emergency! LOL
Name something you don’t love, and why?
Unorganized things and I hate not meeting deadlines; it drives me crazy.
What is your dream project?
Madame Methven stores worldwide in every fashion capital.
What is your favorite or most inspirational place?
Sitting in the garden with pink and red roses on a beautiful sunny day and I love water,
and it can be an ocean, pools, waterfalls, etc. Water calms my aura down and helps me think clearly.
Professionally, what’s your goal?
Be known as the most successful designer internationally!
