RECENT RELEASES
XERO
PROJECTS
In late 2017 Xero released Xero Projects.
This is simple job management software
that allows you to track time and money
you spend on each job. This release is
great for professional services industries
and will assist you in capturing financial
information for all your projects. More
information can be found here:

tools/accounting-software/projects/
Xero Projects will cost $10 per month for
one user and a further $7 per month for
each additional active user.
BUSINESS LOOKUP
AND CREDIT RISK
INDICATOR
When adding a new contact to your Xero
file, Xero will now lookup existing
businesses to add. It will search based on
business name and location or you can
search by ABN. When you use the Xero
business lookup, it will automatically
populate the business name, address,
ABN and CAN (if relevant) for that
business. This is a great time saver when
setting up new contacts, and helps you
keep your contacts list neat and tidy.
A second feature of this release is that
when you create a sales invoice for a
customer, their credit risk rating will
appear if you hover over the customer
name in the new invoice screen. This will
help small businesses to assess their
customer base and determine whether
they should give credit terms to customers
or whether they may need to ask for cash
on delivery.
