When he isn’t working, he spends the majority of his time gardening. But this isn’t your average backyard garden. He and a group of other horticulturalists have 5,200 square feet of garden space at the Scottsdale Community Garden Club. The garden produces two crops each year. The summer crop will produce tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, yard long beans, squash, onions, peppers, sweet corn, honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, blackberries, boysenberries, garlic, and a variety of herbs. One might say, “That’s enough to feed an army!” Take a look at some images from the Scottsdale Community Garden Club in the album below.
When he decides to break from landscape and gardening, he enjoys fishing. He also has two dogs that he proudly rescued from dog shelters.
