On Show Solutions once again had one of the best stands at the show and certainly the best of the South African stands. Driven from the front by co-owners Amanda Margison and Jacqui Reynolds, our very capable all-female team who make it happen.
When On Show Solutions was created over five years ago, the simple goal was to deliver roadshows and exhibitions that meet the needs of the Southern African tourism industry. This dream has evolved into a company that now manages roadshows in the USA, Russia, the UK and Australia as well as exhibition pavilions in Asia and Europe.
These marketing platforms called the ‘Africa Showcase’ are supported by top-quality properties, safari lodges, service providers and tourist boards from the Southern African region with recent extension into East Africa.
On the local front, On Show Solutions manages South African roadshows for South American tourism boards such as Argentina, Chile, Brazil and Peru as well as Air Botswana, South African Airways and Protea Hotels.
We specialise in providing a turn-key package for clients extending to exhibition stand coordinations (design and build), event management and promotional branding. On Show Solutions celebrated five years of service in 2012 and we have our sights on another successful five years!

Air Berlin
This was not our greatest experience. The rude checkin staff to the very narrow seats and not forgetting the airline staff refuse to speak English. The entertainment on board is not as full as Etihad.
Abu Dhabi Airport
Absolutely geared up for travellers in transit. Sleeper couches (upside nice rest, downside if you fall asleep you miss your flight), chargers for your phone, ipad, computer (downside its central so you have to stand). Central free wifi and that's such a win! We could chat to those at home on Skype. The wait is not too long but the walk to your departure is 10 minutes!
Air Berlin
Remember to check that your airline although code share, has the same plusses as the airline you choose. Air Berlin didn't use the Guest points earned by Etihad. We didn't know that. Also Air Berlin didn't have the range of entertainment or the wide seats nor the internet that Etihad Airways had. Tegel Airport had no place for phones to be charged on arrival, no free wifi and we came back to earth with a bag!
Airline fun!
Interestingly enough there was time to spend seeing some of Berlin but of course being on a shoestring, we looked for inexpensive tours. One of them we found was FREE! You tip the tourguide if you think its a good tour. We did. Amy Mason from Devon was knowledgeable, funny, interesting and overall didn't ask for money until the end of the tour which ended in this pub of 100 beers! Best Eishbein I ever tasted and we taught the Germans that to call a South African, an Aussie, is a big insult! Check out
