Batch Profile Batch profile PGDM and MBA BM 2013-15 With an increased batch size of 240, the BM (PGDM and MBA) batch of 2013-15 is the largest ever (in terms of sheer numbers) to walk through the hallowed gates of XIMB. This year, much to the delight of the aspirants wanting to be a part of the famed XIMB legacy, an additional 60 BM MBA seats were added under the newly formed Xavier University. The batch composition exhibits a pattern similar to previous batches with engineers, forming about 92% of the total batch strength, and continuing to outnumber their counterparts from other backgrounds. Also, LLB and MBBS graduates add a unique flavor to the already diverse student body. Students with substantial work experience in varied sectors and domains help create a productive peer learning environment. Freshers (with their unmatched zeal and enthusiasm) comprise about 18% of the total strength. 2 Batch profile PGDM HRM 2013-15 The PGDM HRM batch of 2013-15 is the third Human Resource Management batch of XIMB, the first being the batch of 2011-13. The HRM batch strength is 60 but what the batch lacks in numbers (when compared with BM), it sure makes up for in spirit and enthusiasm. The pattern of the students' academic background mirrors that of the BM batch, with engineers forming the majority (about 75%). The gender ratio of the batch tilts towards the ladies as they narrowly outnumber the gents. Students with prior work experience in different sectors across industry outnumber the freshers who form 23% of the total strength. The people-centric course curriculum has a sharp focus on the changing dynamics between business and society. This will surely equip the future human resource professionals with a holistic understanding of the finer nuances of managing the greatest assets of any organization, its people.
