Site and Project Setup Under the ‘Express Tools Tab we expand the Modify panel and click on the ‘Flatten Objects’ command. You are then asked to select the objects that need to be flattened. Say ‘No’ to the “Remove hidden lines?” option in the command bar. This should have flattened or brought all the selected objects in the DWG down to a 0 value for their elevation. There will be time where certain object will not be flattened, such as Blocks. Either repeat the flatten command on these or explode them and repeat the flatten command. If this still does not move these objects to the 0 value for elevation then you might have to move them down manually. (Remember, we are doing this to avoid an unnecessarily large, wide, tall DWG underlay inside of our Revit drawing space).
