Detailing and annotations
You can skip the option of
selecting a ‘Parent’ value from
the drop down by choosing the
‘Sub Note’ when adding a new
keynote. This will
automatically choose the last
selected ‘Parent’ value that
you highlighted in the main
Keynote Manager dialogue
window.
If you have a keynote selected
below a ‘Parent’ value. Click to
Add a new keynote but use
the ‘Sequential’ option. This
will automatically renumber
the new keynote to follow the
numbering system that you
have implemented.
You can now save this and
reload it into your Revit
project.
Using the Keynote Manager
makes the process for
selecting ‘Parent’ values,
formatting and editing your
keynote file much easier. If
you make regular use of
keynotes this will benefit your
workflow.
