Detailing and annotations
We will create our own
Keynote file using excel first.
Open Microsoft Excel.
You will need parent or
category values for the
Keynote file. In this example
we will use Doors, Windows &
Roof Lights. Enter these into
the first 3 rows in Excel.
Parent values
For each parent value or
category the numbering must
be unique. You cannot have a
‘01’ number for Doors and
Windows. You will have to
work out a naming convention
for yourselves. For the parent
value of Doors we will use
D01, D02 etc. in column A
keynote values
Column B will host the
descriptions for each Keynote.
Set the cells so that they wrap
text automatically. Do not use
the ‘Enter’ button to start new
lines in the description cells.
