Detailing and annotations
Open the Keynote Legend in
the Project Browser. Click on
the ‘Edit’ button for the Filter
options. At the bottom of the
dialogue window check the
box for the ‘Filter by Sheet’.
This will only display the
keynotes that are relevant to
the views that have been
placed on that particular
sheet.
Editing the Keynote file.
It is recommended practice to
have an office standard
keynote file. This file is meant
to have all the basic generic
everyday notes. For every
new project that is created this
Keynote file will be duplicated,
saved in the project folder and
customised to that particular
project’s specifications.
If you open the default
Keynote file
‘RevitKeynotes_Metric’. There
is a copy in the source file for
this workshop. You will notice
that it is a Notepad or text file.
There are specific rule to
editing the Notepad file.
Generally a Third party
programme is used or
Microsoft Excel.
