Detailing and annotations
Keynote Types;
Element keynote – this will
refere to the keynote
parameter in the Type
Properties of the element
tagged. This can be changed
in the Type properties of the
relevant element
Material keynote – this will
refere to the keynote that is
assigned to the material in the
material editor. It can also
refere to a chosen keynote
from the text file. This will
remain the same if multiple
keynotes are placed for the
same instance of the same
family
.
User Keynote – this will allow
the user to choose a different
keynote for every instance that
the user tags. This will enable
you to place the same keynote
on a drywall as for a concrete
column. ( not recommended )
There is a chance that you will
have to load a Keynote tag for
your Revit Project. There is a
default tag in the default
library. Go to the ‘Insert’ TAB
and click on ‘Load Family’.
Browse to the location of the
default Revit library. In the
Annotations folder you will find
the ‘M_Keynote Tag’ family.
Select it and click on OPEN.
