Detailing and annotations
You will have to create new
parameters inside the
Cupboard family for the Top
Shelf Offset and the Shelf
Number parameter.
Give Top Shelf Offset and
Shelf Number values of 100
and 3 respectively. ‘Map’
these parameters as well.
Move the Detail Item into
position. Flex the Cupboard
Family parameters to check
that all parameters have been
mapped and are working
correctly.
Load the Cupboard Family
into a Revit Project. Place the
family and draw a Section line
through it to see the detail.
We only want the Detail item
to show in our Revit project if
the View was set to Fine level
of Detail.
Inside the Cupboard family,
Section View, select the Detail
Item. In its properties click on
the Visibility/Graphics button.
