Detailing and annotations
Click on the Family Types
button in the Ribbon. You will
see there are currently two
parameters, ‘Length’ and
‘Array Count’.
In the Formula column of the
Array Count parameter enter
the following;
Length/1500mm.
This will divide the Length of
the line drawn and place and
‘SC’ item as the resultant of
the Sum. I.e. Length 5300mm
/ 1500mm = 3.53.
Click on the apply button ad
note the error message. This
happens because there are
less than two items in the
Array. There is also a
difference between the Type
or Instance used in the sum
To fix this problem click on the
Add button under Parameters
in the Family Types Dialogue
window.
Give the new parameter the
name: ‘SC Item Count’
The Type of Parameter:
‘Integer’
Group it under: ‘Other’
Leave it as a ‘Instance’
parameter
Click OK
