Detailing and annotations
Click on the Revit Applications
button, expand New and click
on the New Family button. In
the family templates choose
the Metric Generic
Annotations family template.
Click Open.
Once the family is open click
on the Text button in the tool
ribbon. Where the reference
planes cross click to start the
text box and type in the letters
‘SC’. You can make this text a
transparent type.
Delete the existing red text
note. Save this as a Generic
Ann. Family. Load this family
into the line based family.
Once the Generic Annotation
Family has been loaded into
the Line Based family it will be
a ‘Symbol’ under the Annotate
Tab.
Place the ‘Symbol’ for the ‘SC’
text in the top right hand
quarter of the Line Based
Family screen.
