Stairs & Railings
7. Select the last run. Notice
that you have two controls: the
dot and the arrow.
-The Dot allows you to add
risers even past the second
level. Note the Nr in the riser
will give a + value if you are
over the Desired number of
risers.
-The Arrow Allows you to
justify your staircase by
adding and subtracting risers
to stay at the Actual number of
risers.
8. While in sketch mode, if you
continue to draw runs even if it
exceeds the Desired Number
of risers, the staircase will
continue until you stop,
allowing you to go past levels
without setting the heights in
the properties.
9. Go to the 3D Default Views.
Notice that the stair is a 3D
component unlike the stair by
sketch
- Delete extra staircase after
review
10. Select a run in the 3D view
and select FLIP on the ribbon
(This flips the staircase,
changing the start and end)
FLIP again to fix.
11. Select the bottom run,
adjust the width in the
properties to 1500. Because
