Door Schedules
In South Africa, door
schedules are generated in
either one of two ways. Firstly,
the large format, that being
either an A1 or A0 sheet
displaying all doors on a
single sheet, and secondly,
the small format, that being
an A4 or A3 sheet displaying
a single door.
For the large format schedule
we need to add two text
parameters.
The first is simply titled ”.” All
that will be entered here is a
sequence of fullstops. When
schedule is placed on sheets
and this field’s column is
resized to wrap one character
per line, the number of dots
will effectively adjust the row
height, allowing for the
placement of graphics.
This will require the second
parameter, namely a text
parameter called “graphics”
When placed on a sheet,
these two parameters will
allow you to place legend
views in the spaces provided
as Revit can at this time not
compile a schedule with a
graphic component
For the smaller formats, the
door schedule will need to be
duplicated for each door and
subsequently filtered (see
right) to reflect only that door
