Columns and Beams 1 . In the East Elevation View , there is a Reference Plane . The reference plane will represent the slope of the Gallery ’ s Roof Structure . a . Attach the columns to the reference plane . Make sure the plane cuts the columns according to the slope b . Attach the walls to the same reference plane . c .
Create a work plane from the reference plane . d . Place 2 ( Rectangular Concrete ) Beams to the entrance as demonstrated , by setting the work plane to the Plane and drawing the beams e .

Load a new Steel Universal Beam into the project . Use this beam to create a handrail for the steps into the gallery entrance . ( Tip , draw the beam on 00 Gallery Level + Height offset of 900mm , repeat on the 0.5 Path Level . Then by using 3D snapping , snap one point to the next to create the sloped beam ) Use the Site Plan to draw , it ’ s easier .
