We start by opening the Revit
model MDC Building Modelling
– Floors, Columns and Beams
START.rvt
After creating the floor using
the sketch tools, and having
setup the floor as required we
can finish the sketch.
Once the floor is created, we
can modify its sub elements.
We do this by selecting the floor
we wish to modify, and select
modify sub elements in the
contextual tab as shown.
The shape editing tools afford
us four options, namely: Add
Point (adding individual points
to the floor), Add Split Line
(adding a line to the floor) and
Pick Supports (adding a line to
