Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
We will now load a sink into the
cupboard family. This is called
nesting. Under the ‘Insert’ tab
on the Ribbon click on ‘Load
Family’. Go to your library,
choose a sink and load it into
the cupboard family. Place it in
‘plan’ view. We will need to
dimension between the front
and back edges of our counter
top to the edges of the sink.
These dimensions will have to
be locked. This is done to
constrain the sink in a position
regardless of the changes in
size of the cupboard.
In a side elevation align and
lock the sink to the top of the
counter.
