Family Creation 2 (parametric Arrays)
Now if we select the Cupboard
Door Plain and go to its ‘Edit
Type’ properties we will see
that the ‘Width’ parameter has
been greyed out.
We can now change the ‘Width’
of the Cupboard door Plain’ by
going to the ‘Family Types’. The
Cupboard Door Plain’s width
will now be controlled via the
Kitchen Cupboard Adjustable
family. There is no Height
parameter yet so we will repeat
the above steps to control the
Height of the ‘Cupboard Door
Plain’ via the ‘Kitchen
Cupboard Adjustable’ family.
This parameter will be called:
‘Door Height’.
In the ‘Family types’ dialogue
box we want to control the
‘Door Height’ or make it adjust
to the Height of the kitchen
cupboard. We also want the
Door Height to always be
20mm below the top of the
kitchen cupboard height.
